Project Overview

The GMU MIS 491 team developed a graphical framework (Process of Information Transfer – PIT) that streamlines the transfer of sensitive information to allies (both in private and public sector) for the US Cyber Command . The aim is to tackle a common issue in the cyber security community that the client faces, which is hesitancy of sharing sensitive information and the inefficient flow of cyber intelligence. The framework solution was applied to the $100+ billion SolarWinds breaches demonstrating its mitigation effectiveness. Moreover, the final deliverable for this project was accepted in the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Journal's 2024 Volume 1 .
