Project Overview

The GMU MIS 491 team provided SURVICE Engineering Company a solution to improve management of internal and external communication given their custom backend problem-tracking system and current operational processes. The Client's Needs was to have a solution that can be integrated into their current problem-tracking operations for better efficiency when reviewing communication transactions between various parties, all while be compatible with DoD security requirements and integrated with their existing custom backend system. The GMU MIS 491 Solution / Recommendation Delivery included a proposed solution and demonstraton of how a third-party tool called smartsheet can be integrated into the client's Microsoft Outlook, allowing the technical analysts to efficiently organize and group email communications for faster retrieval, review, and comprehension.
