The GMU MIS 491 team provided Colvin Run with cybersecurity assessments and a path forward to meet the important goal of CMMC regulatory compliance. The Client's Needs included a more comprehensive security assessment tool, and plans of action in order to be compliant with government cybersecurity regulations. For the First Solution the GMU team initially discovered and implemented a compliance assessment tool with Colvin Run. The Final Deliverable made use of this tool and laid out the means to reach CMMC compliance in the four main categories of security awareness/training, access control, risk assessment, and incident response. The team turned over a variety of specific tools, services, and complete policies that would aid in becoming compliant. Along with this, the team delivered proper documentation of the compliance assessment tool to ensure success.
