Project Overview

The GMU MIS 491 team provided Building Momentum two solutions for the company to conduct business more efficiently and to reduce effort from employees and management. The Client's Needs were to provide an inventory management solution along with an accounting software that would easily integrate with their existing Expensify platform and alleviate pain of manual transaction processing. The GMU MIS 491 Solution Delivery included researching applications that would efficiently manage their existing inventory, eventually replacing their lacking system of manual inventory tracking. Research was also conducted around existing toolsets that would augment their Expensify software to upload statements and other transactional data automatically. After thorough research and testing, two existing solutions (BoxHero and Xero) were recommended to the client, which could be implemented to eliminate unnecessary overhead.
