She graduated in 2024 and decided to move back to Palestine to kick start her career.

In the future, she would love to become a Chief Marketing Officer. However, for the time being, her current professional goal is to dominate the marketing industry and become one of the top marketing analysts in her region. Palestine is behind in the data analysis field and she wants to be one of the leaders that help shape and influence how business data is utilized to improve their markets and industries.

Class Experience
"My first experience with Dr. Ngac was in MIS 491 [the Professional Readiness Experiential Program (PREP)]. During this experience, I gained some insight on how it was like to work as a consultant for a client (US Cyber Command) and how to tailor our output for their specific needs. With Dr. Ngac’s guidance, my team was able to provide an excellent proposal and presentation for the client that showcased the new graphical framework we developed. This framework is designed to optimize transfer of sensitive information to external partners and we applied it to the SolarWinds breaches to demonstrate its mitigation effectiveness. The work and knowledge we gained from this class were so impactful that we applied to get it published. Thankfully, we got published in the 2nd Volume of ISACA’s Journal released in 2024.

My second experience was working as a Scholar Research Assistant for Dr. Ngac and Dr. Nirup’s project with the Commonwealth Cyber Initiative (CCI). With the guidance of my professors, I was able to further improve my practical knowledge by learning how to work with large and complex databases while also overcoming the many challenges that come up when working with real-life data. During this experience, we built a data warehouse using SQL queries to integrate and streamline healthcare and cloud databases. This helped us to analyze data sources and cybersecurity practices of healthcare organizations so that we can identify security risks in different organizational infrastructures to mitigate future breaches.

These experiences solidified my understanding of course concepts by allowing me to apply them in real-world contexts."
