Nathaniel Sposit is a student at George Mason University, majoring in Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) in the School of Business. During his Junior year, Nathaniel participated in a semester study abroad program with University Paris Dauphine, where he learned Python and Relational Database Management. Upon returning, Nathaniel continued his upper-level coursework in Management of Information Systems (MIS), where he took two classes taught by Brian Ngac. During his free time, Nathaniel enjoys rock climbing and traveling. Nathaniel is expected to graduate in May 2021.

"Brian is one of the most influential professors that I had during my studies at George Mason University. His wealth of technical and managerial knowledge in Information Systems and in Cybersecurity combined with his clear passion for teaching have allowed me to excel both academically and professionally. I continue to apply the skills that I learned in Systems Analysis and Design (MIS 330), as well as Information Systems Audit and Control (MIS 415), at my current position with SURVICE Engineering Company. I continue to reach out to Brian from time to time to for technical and professional advice."

Upon Graduation
Nathaniel accepted a full-time position with SURVICE Engineering Company as a Junior Technical Analyst supporting the Department of Defense’s Defense Systems Information Analysis Center. Nathaniel uses the skills he learned from Brian on a daily basis, especially relating to system development, project management, and cybersecurity.
Future Goals
Nathaniel plans to pursue a law degree, focusing on business law and technology policy. He hopes to bring a much-needed technical background into the legal field to address issues such as data privacy, artificial intelligence, and blockchain.
