Summary

Lilly Pishvaian is a first-generation college student who is graduating in December 2020 with a double major in Marketing and ISOM. Although this major combination is unique, she noticed a strong correlation between the two and realized the collaboration of knowledge would set her apart as a student/professional. While her time at Mason has been short, it has been fully lived with holding three positions in her business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, and obtaining an internship in the legal field while also taking classes full time.

Class Experience
"I had the pleasure of having Professor Ngac for two semesters, which in turn were very different semesters due to the outbreak of COVID-19. He was one of the most helpful professors when it came to transitioning to online learning. Just one example would be that he took the time every week to virtually meet with groups for at least 30 minutes to go over material and any questions/ concerns we had. By doing so it avoided any confusion we would have an eliminated a lot of stress during a stressful time! Although Professor Ngac can be sassy at times, he is all in all a very passionate and dedicated instructor at George Mason and I have been privileged to have him as an professor in the MIS department."
